Hospital Policies

One of our goals at South Shores Pet Clinic is to provide an equal level of care to every patient and client we meet. To accomplish this goal, we abide by the following hospital policies:

Appointment Policy

To best accommodate all of our patients, we prefer that you make an appointment for your pet’s non-emergency visits. Please plan to arrive approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Keep in mind that all emergency cases receive top priority, followed by patients with previously scheduled appointments. Although appointments are preferred, we do welcome walk-in visits as well.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection and that of other clients, we request that all dogs be on a leash and properly restrained while in our waiting area and exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks/debit cards, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

As a service for our clients, we are pleased to also offer CareCredit card, North America’s leading client payment program. CareCredit makes it easier for your pet to receive immediate veterinary care and provides the following benefits:
